As rumors of a blockbuster fight between two of UFC's biggest stars continue to swirl, lightweight contender Tony Ferguson has added fuel to the fire by posting a spectacular promo for the rumored bout against Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The 35-year-old, a former interim champion, is poised to challenge for the lightweight title against the undefeated Russian in the main event in Brooklyn, New York on April 18th, as per a report from ESPN.

It is a fight that's been scheduled to happen on four separate occasions down the years, with injuries and weight-cutting issues being an unfortunate factor behind the cancellations.

But it finally looks like Nurmagomedov and Ferguson will go head-to-head at the Barclays Center in 2020.

Khabib's manager, Ali Abdelaziz, took to Twitter on Tuesday to inform fans that 'the Eagle' has signed his agreement ahead of the eagerly anticipated fight.

He even shared an image of the document with his client's signature.

And just a day later, Ferguson, who has won his last 12 fights in UFC, has dropped a promo that is guaranteed to give you goosebumps ahead of April 14th.

"No more games. I'm open for business. Time to give the fans what they want. Champ Shit Only." he said on social media alongside the following trailer.

Earlier this month, UFC president Dana White was asked if Khabib vs Ferguson was in the works.

He told the Daily Express in UFC 244's post-fight press conference: "Yeah. Yup. We're working on that." as well as confirming that the MMA promotion is looking to hold the showdown in either March or April.
