Soon, it's finally time for the UFC to host its first gala on Fight Island - and what a crazy UFC 251: Usman vs. Masvidal seems to be!
The Grand Gala offers no less than three title matches and this year's most star-packed match card. The first of the three title meetings goes into bantamweight, where Petr Yan settles with legend José José Aldo about the vacant belt that Henry Cejudo recently left.
Then we are offered a really exciting rematch, where former champion Max Holloway will try to take back his featherweight title from Alexander Volkanovski, who defeated Holloway in December.
Last out is the match everyone has been waiting for - Kamaru "The Nigerian Nightmare" Usman defends his welterweight title against the superstar and BMF champion Jorge "Gamebred" Masvidal. Usman should have been against Gilbert Burns, but the latter tested positive for covid-19 and was forced to withdraw from the meeting.
In addition, a dozen big matches will take place during the night, such as the exciting light heavyweight meeting between Volkan Oezdemir and Jiri Prochazka, and a strawweight rematch between former champions Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade.
In addition, Swedish favorite Makwan Amirkhani will take on Danny Henry on the undercard - check out all the matches below!
